NEW to the area? Or maybe new to the "church" thing?
You're in the right place!! Welcome to a church full of believers who will welcome you in, no matter your background. After all, that's what the family of God is supposed to be like. This is our church home and it can be yours too!

Still not sure? ?

  • What's it like at Park River Federated Church:  Fun,  Friendly and like one big family.  We're definately more like a community church, who believes in the WORD of GOD and tries to follow his ways. We believe God's love is readily available to everyone! We're a mismatch of all types of backgrounds and walks of life. We openly WELCOME all who desire to know God and have a closer walk with him.  There is alot of love and laughter inside our church walls, along with fellowship and praising God!

  • What about my kids?  ALL ages are welcome!!!  We have a children's ministry for ages 4 and up.  Sunday School goes from October (after school kids are settled) and goes into May.  We also have the Lighthouse Youth Group, which is comprised of Junior and Senior High kids, from 3 area churches. They meet Sunday evenings @ 7pm for Bible Study, activities, praise and worship and attend some fun events outside of church, together!

  • Where do I park:   Parking is streetside. So along the park or around the church anywhere you can find parking!

  • What do I wear:  Come as you are!  There is no dresscode here.  We want you to feel comfortable;  with the variety of people that attend here, there is a variety of apparel.  Some like to dress up and some like to be more casual.  No dress code!

  • How can I get connected:    You can contact our Pastor Jesse Irvine or anyone listed on our webpage, will be glad to help you. If you prefer to meet before church and have someone walk in with you, or just get to know someone before you show up the first time!  We'd be glad to meet you!

  • Do you offer communion:   We normally have communion on the 1st Sunday of every month. We serve little pre-packaged cups of grape juice, with the wafer included on top. This is an OPEN communion, so as long as you believe in his body and blood shed for your sins, you can partake.  You don't have to "walk up front", you actually take communion right in your church pew.

  • Do I have to be a member:   No, membership is not required. Of course we won't turn you down if you'd like to be a member!  But that's not our main focus.

  • Is giving an offering required:    No, not at all!   We don't pass the offering plate around, we just have it sitting on a table behind the middle pews, as a free-will offering.  It's completely optional and is between you and God. If you are able to,  we appreciate it and our church will use it wisely!
